Welcome to the Jonathan Cates Website!
Jonathan is a performer with over 50 years of experience on stage and off. Jonathan began acting in school in 1958 playing a teacher in the school play; the acting bug never left him. Until 1985, he lived in California, and was involved with theatre, opera, movies, commercials, and television.
Aside from work, Jonathan loves being a part of local community theatre near his home in Snellville, Georgia. Now, a long-time community theatre volunteer in Snellville, he served as House Manager and Activities Director. He still volunteers and enjoys performing in as many plays as possible. He enjoys traveling the world and teaching viola in his free time.
